nothing really, i got them before i had a tuner, they took 5º of kr out of the stock tune.

Shes running strong 0kr through the rpms. Still having the flash kr problem so i just havent been mashing on it. I just made a thread asking for some knowledge. I just purchased those yt 1.9s so i cant wait to get those in. Im hopefull ill be able to install those and add a couple degrees of timing to my tune.

im willing to bet your maxed out on timing. even with rockers.
the timing i gave you is what i was running when i had the rockers heads and stock pulley. the rockers will just let it flow better and you'll feel some power gains from them, not a ton tho.
no bone stock ont he l67, they were my very first mod. i had 8 kr before the rockers, they killed 5 off, a simple u band delete killed off the last 3. then i got a tuner, headers and a 3.4....
blew that up^^^^
then did the ported heads, rockers on the top swap. then a 1000 miles later i added the ic injectors and bought a 5 pack of pulleys, 2.8 up to a 3.4.
rockers add some power, but it not like you added a ic. cant hurt to play with the timing. but id think your stuck where your at for timing.
fuel pump took a crap. i was at the top of second gear wot, when it shifted, it made sounds you never want to hear, i knew it was f ed up asap. bout a mile later i got a cyd 3 misfire code. found it smashed in. and that means chip showed up to the party.
still dint know the pump was failing, and lucky it took a full proper crap soon after the engine swap.
funny part is the top swapped engine was about done and was planned to be swapped in 2 days, only the plan was to have a running spare engine lol guess not.
Hey scotty or anyone! I should have my 1.9 roller rockers tomorow and had a question. I doubt that the guy that shipped them have them labeled for which rocker went with what pushrod and such so should i use some arp assembly lube or since they only have 6k miles on them does it even matter.

mine were mixed up too, dont really matter. but its nice to keep em mated up. i did that when i did the engine swap, made a cardboard tray to hold everything in place.
id put a smear of grease on the tip of the push rod, and the top of the valve stem where the roller goes, nothing thick, just a smear to lube it while its on its first start up.
I'm just wondering...
how in the hell is a top swap thread 70~ pages...and why is it a sticky...I'm not going through it.
Back when people actually read things; there was already a lengthy sticky on the subject: http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...s-of-3800-Info
Edit: no one is even going to come close to reading 70 pages. No one even opens a thread and reads the first page. Bravo for everyone that participated...but that's overkill.

So people will stop asking, this is the point of this thread. I never would have been able to do this without this thread. The problem is theres a lot of smart people on here but also a few people that post that dont know what there talking about and give miss information. So this thread clears up all the questions that might be confusing for others like they were for me.
