Grab a dictionary and look up the word "Easy", that should explain it pretty well.
A short and too the point flush would be remove both rad hoses, both heater core hoses and remove the thermostat. Take a hose and spray water through the rad, into the intake manifold and through one heater core hose/then the other. Slap it back together, fill through the thermostat hole and rad, then install thermostat and start it up and let it run. It should bleed just fine with the cap off.
ok thanks going to do the flush tomorrow
did the flush didnt take to long another question my passenger floor is always wet could the ac drain line be clogged and if so do you know the location of it
jacked up the passenger side tonight and took off the wheel and seen the little rubber elbow can i get to this from the top tryed to get it with the wheel off no luck ??
You ain't going to you have to come up between the subframe
OK thanks
Wet passenger side floor is usually caused by water dripping in from the cowl. You can get an updated part from the dealer, Amazon or eBay for around $10 and it takes 20 minutes to replace if you're slow. There are a couple of write ups on here, I believe in the "how to" section.
The sooner it's taken care of the better because it goes through your blower motor. Mine did same thing 8 months later blower motor eats sh!t
Is this what your talking about the deflector #15794785 I just did that last week
Yes, that should have fixed the wet carpet on the passenger side. Some recommend that you also replace the blower motor/fan assembly as well since water has been running through it.
the carpet is fine now just damp and would the blower motor/fan be going in the car sometimes dosent work till i hit a bump then turns back on and roughly how much is the blower motor and fan ?
do i need a new resistor to ????
I replaced that first and it was the blower. I just left it in for world peace.
I bought the TYC from Amazon. It has a strange whine that elevates with speed. Works fine.
The Delco I believe from RA is about 80 and no doubt would be whisper level like the OEM.
Do one at time if you dont care and find out which is the problem. My blower would start fine but then slowly slow down after it got hot.
Getting water on it in the past didn't help the motor much. The resistor is pretty much out of the water path.
