My wiper have been acting up all summer and I've replaced everything from the multifunction switch to the motor and circuit board itself. I realized wiggling a wire made it work again, so I put a new plug on the motor and it still fails intermittently.

This has been unbelievably frustrating as intermittent failure is so hard to track down. I'm just going to solder each wire to it's respective tab and fill the plug with hot glue.

Is there any way I can solder an "override" wire to the motor itself and just toggle it on full speed if all else fails? I'm going to deal with snow this week and I just need reliable wipers.

Open to suggestions!
