Okay, passenger side HVAC would always blow hot no matter the sliders position on the HVAC unit. Figure it was the blend door actuator, got a new one but still hot all the time. So my replacement is a doormen unit so it could be bad right out of the box. The HVAC unit sends something to the blend door actuator because with the actuator plugged in the motor does spin but it only jitters half a turn back and fourth before giving up. The one that came out of the car does the same thing but the unit that came out was a "Woory" branded unit that I don't think it stock. So being the actuator only has 4 plugs on it couldn't I prob the harness with my multimeter and see what the HVAC is sending to the actuator? I figure, one of em is ground, the other 2 voltage for forwards and backwards then a sensor wire to tell the HVAC to stop sending voltage. Anyone got a wiring diagram for the area to make this a little more easy for me?

Mine did the jitter back and forth a little, I had to replace my controls, if the blend door is bad it won't move, here is what I did, I pressed in on the control lever and noticed the blend door actuator move more.

That's what I was thinking but man i'd love to be able to test it before buying an ebay unit

Did end up replacing the HVAC unit. Didn't try and do any testing since a local junk yard sold me one for 10 bucks. Everything works now, replacement unit even has all its bulbs lit. Just wanted to mark this as solved in case someone finds it in search

I have the same issue. I need a dual slider HVAC unit, but they are hard to find used or are very expensive new.

Yeah I just noticed that after posting this. A month or two ago there was nothing but brand new units. I'm local to Ed Morad so I sent him an email to check his inventory. If he doesn't have any I'll order one from eBay.
