I changed my HUB with a cheap one, it started humming on the highway almost immediately. I replaced it today with an AC Delco hub. The Humming got much quieter but its still there (it changed pitch though).
i didnt use a torque wrench on the axle nut. Could i have over tightened the axle nut with the impact?

You don't use an impact to tighten, especially important things, because as you know, you don't know how tight you got it. I highly doubt you got it too tight though.

You learned your lesson on why you don't use a cheap bearing too.

    118 ft lbs.

You'd have to go extremely tight to **** up one of these bearings, they bearings dont really require a certain number to like preload them like pressed in bearings.
