Ordered KYB GR2's and Moog mounts, and then bought go-kart parts instead of the SSC springs I was planning on getting...
Priorities. lol
Watched the GP roll 403K and it has developed a clunk in the drivers floorboard area when coming to a stop. Suspect subframe and trans/engine mounts. Guess that's next on the list. Along with some anti-pogo washers. At this point the subframe mounts are pretty much the last OE bushings left so why not, and the mounts are def. toast as when I replaced my A/C condenser I was able to pull the motor forward by hand and hold it there in order to get the dogbone mounts off/on.
Just finished washing the Vic. Even now it's still 86* outside. Figured I'd go ahead and knock off all the stupid orange pollen from my tree out front so the car doesn't look like shyte.
What part # were the Taylor wires? I am due and they look nice.
Also, I had a voltage booster and it killed my battery. Just something to keep in mind.

Taylor Cable 72210 Spiro-Pro Red Spark Plug Wire Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CQ005C..._6mNCzbB046B9D
I don't care for the voltage booster but the added cable seems fine.

Went to change the T-stat since Ole Betty had been heating up at idle and when coasting down hills.... I'd have to shift to neutral and rev it or shift down into a lower gear-anything to get rpms up and force it to open the damn T-stat.
Anyway, went to go ahead and get started for my quick 20 minute thermostat switch.... and what to I find? Not just orange... but orange and green yaaaay
fast forward flushing the whole damn system with a garden hose. t stat is now in with new dex, no overheating issues and im done for the day....
YES ACTUALLY! The bottom of the overflow was basically sealed with junk, but the top was just green...
So that was green and everything from within the engine was that glorious gross gray it turns when they're mixed.
I'm assuming somebody topped off the overflow either to attempt to fix the cooling issue, or to fool the next buyer aka me...
All is well now though
Last week I replaced my spark plugs and finally dropped to the 3.25" pulley that I bought last year. Then I drove it on a 1,500 mile roadtrip through Minnesota, Wisconsin, Chicago, Michigan, and the UP.
Well I see some rain in the forecast so today was a good day for washing, polishing & waxing the car.
Cleaned/shined the tires & wheels, Windex & a little RainX on the windows.
GoldieRocks is lookin' good!
LOL, doesn't seem like it ever ended. Plenty of attempts to draw a distinction between themselves and the mitten - road signs, restaurant names, bumper stickers, random conversation...
Put new front pads (acdelco ceramic) and rotors last night on the 08. Feel great compared to the worn out pulsing pads and rotors that I was trying to run down to nothing.
I have always had the inner pad wear out a bit quicker than the outer pad on most cars. for some reason they like to install the pad with the squeaker on the outside. I put the new ones on the inside.

Over the last few weekends. I've added an aftermarket stereo deck w/a USB port so I can play music off a jump drive. Love it. I added some Alpine Type R 6x9's in the back deck, I will be adding Type R 6's in front doors. They are running off a Hifonics 70W X 4. Sounds pretty good so far. This is in my GT.
the dumb petcock on my fmhe was leaking out its turn screw, so i had to cut its drain nipple off so it would spin past the bar i got holding the fmhe in place, then installed a plug.
