Went to do my front wheel bearings tonight...nope. they sent me the wrong ones. I never did them on this car, so I assumed I ordered the correct ones with the abs when I put in my car type and everything and chose them. Well here's the kicker...I ordered them off the auto zone app on my phone. Turns out, there are 2 wheel bearing options for the front bearings on the app, but if you go to the auto zone website, they have 4 options, moogs with abs sensors. So I ended up ordering 2 wheel hubs non abs.
Problems like this is why I don't use apps to order stuff. I just go to the damn full website. They cut too many corners on mobile versions and leave important things out. I even hate when I look at something on eBay and it takes me to their mobile site. Every time I switch to the full site so I can view all the info that they leave out.
Haven't done anything cuz this fawking rain won't stop. The only time it hasn't rained is when I'm at work. Grrrrr.
Back Friday goodies arrived, these hylux ballasts are beefcake.

bought new inner tie rods, I'll toss those in probably this weekend.
If it's not -30 F that is.
Supposed to as good or better than the moris, was 87 shipped with new bulbs.
Why... back in my day we walked ten miles to school in ten foot snowdrifts at eighty below. It was uphill both ways, I tell ya.
My tales of auto repair bravery all involve heat instead.
For real today I had to get a hunk of 33 Ford dragged outta my eye. Next week they can dig the rust out. It was in there overnight. Neato bandito. The eye doc lady was kinda good lookin though so bonus.
Hope it wasn't like a hood or quarter, lol. Heck I didn't think much of it until I closed my eyes to sleep then ow.
Oh and I rolled past 239K today. Or was that yesterday? Who cares why bother but yeah... for being such a piece of junk that GTP sure lets me beat on it a lot. Sounds like Mom wants to keep my GT, she has had it for awhile now.
New GTP thing because fate found out I upgraded the wheels... brake indicator lamp quit working. Comes on during WOT 1st gear pulls and goes out shortly thereafter. Time to dig out 40th leftover junk and hunt for the park brake pedal switch. I guess.
My best cold weather car fixin story involves changing spark plugs in an early 80's ford thunderbird v6 at -23 that wouldn't start at a cabin in northern Wisconsin. That sat out the whole weekend with lows of -40. Actual temp. That was a *****.
