Today I realized my dash cam had turned off at some point on my ride home, not happy... Also checked some stuff on torque, trans temp was at 152° but it idled for 5 minutes with the fans on low before I could find my Bluetooth adapter.
Also kind of a weird and day at work, slow all morning up until 3:30- then bam cars being towed in, multiple people coming in with their cars. Got a GP in that had the worst vc leak ever. It was pouring smoke everywhere.

1st coat of wax on the bonne, little more cleaning under the hood, stared and contemplated swapping my other blower on with the 3.2 and switching to E85 instead of installing the ssic. Just found out a couple weeks ago a gas station right down the road carries it, need some 60# injectors, though. And hope the stock fuel pump can keep up, not going any smaller on pulley, so it might work.

    What part?

Those voltage regulators have been around for a long time now, they work just fine. All of the trucks I've owned have them.

It's a current sensor on the negative wire leading to the battery, it basically shuts down the alternator unless it's needed. This means running voltage is around 12v now instead of ~14v. They cam into play in 2005.

I know, I watch my voltgauge on the dash do it's dance every now and then.

Normally drops to 13 volts and goes up to 14.5-15 volts when it wants too. I've never had an issue with tuning either because of this function.

I wouldn't think of tuning being the problem, I'd think of other mods. HIDs, Stereos, one touch modules, all that jazz. I wish there was a way to bypass it. I also need to figure out if the CS144 regulator is compatible with the PWM signal from the 05+ GPs...

    07. Been a solid car for 135k. I put 5 QTS oil in, I still get 4.9 quarts back after 5k miles. I've replaced a PS pump and reservoir. That is all. And plugs took 15 minutes. Oh my.

So what gives? My pressure in the system is like 80, which is about normal for this temperature, yet the compressor will not engage. Either I'm wrong or there is an electrical issue.

Found the issue, clutch wouldn't engage. Air gap was too large, got my compressor clutch tool and tightened the gap, its up and running now. Charge was a little low so I filled it a bit, blows cold now.
The impala had a very low charge, filled it up and I'll keep an eye out for leaks now.

Now what to do with the compressor I bought.. I'll make sure the impalas compressor isn't leaking bad and return it. Mine does have some leak dye on the seams but it just isn't leaking very much. I'll wait it out.

fixed my crank sensor code and the icm code, and the low voltage to ignition bypass codes.

and never ever doubt billboost37. (not that i did) after i told him what the first two codes were, then the next day the crank code came up hes like its still the harness. lol i had a spare on hand so i swapped it today and i found this wrong with the old one.

all is well once again in regal land.

i got back home and my flex and wideband showed up. theres nothing left to hold this engine swap up now, but the heat outside, damn it was hot today and yesterday, hell most of this last week was bad out side.

i also changed a set of brake pads on a 05 chevy 3500. my cheap friend did not want to cut the rotors, so new pads on grooved up rotors.

and then we measured and fabbed up C channel to the bed of his new dump truck so we can run boards up the sides.

All I did to the GTP was open the door and grab the 69 key. No car compliments on this week's grocery run but last week there were two. I guess the cracks and stuff aren't visible in person, lol. Last week's sanity preservation cruise was rainy and while thats cool once in awhile, glad its dry out at the moment so I can let 'er eat. Its N/A HP weather here, almost need jacket. Wondered about the GT, no word in 2 weeks. Second weekend in a row for me, solid doing paperwork related to wreck. Four months in, they haven't established fault yet. Hospital bills don't even bother to indicate what charges are for at this point, I don't understand nor want to.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.

    Worked on my sister's CRV.
Cat lovers shouldn't own black cars. She also had a bra on the front I convinced her to ditch.

First pics are after washing twice and claying. I used Meguiars M101,Ultimate compound and M205 for abrading.
Finished with Collinite845 on everything(including the plastic cladding) except rubber which was Turtle wax Black endura shine coating
