Late 01 to 02 have the ls6 intake. Still a ls1 motor but more efficient ls6 intake and no egr. And a couple of other things here and there

Stopped at speedy lube place on the way home from work for an oil change, cuz apparently I can't find time to do it myself.
But you can stop somewhere and have it done? Lol

i love how clean the oil is in my new engine. its the first time i've had to use the holes in the stick to verify theres oil on the stick lol
only time ive had oil changed at a lube place my friend was the manager and it was free, so why not right?
See I do a super thorough oil change, I usually rotate the tires so I let it drain for a long time. I'll jack it up more, more oil will come out. Then intentionally set it on one jack stand and lower the other side, more oil comes out lol. In the end it's super clear for a few weeks. Call me crazy but it can't hurt lol
And pour the extra 1/2 quart through to flush out any remaining old oil too right ?
Nope, haven't reached that level of crazy lol. Gonna save that so I get a "free" one after 10 oil changes. Well 9 actually.
On a steel pan.. it's almost a lost cause. There is about 3/8" of oil below the level of the plug.
Haha they do make boats that a car drives on and can move a prop to move Round lol

Um, that's what I did.
Noted.
Absolutely. I change my oil every 5-7000km, and I was at 12,000km since the last one, and had topped it up twice, and no free time in my near future. $50 well spent IMO.
