Fronts are 5.25".

Ahh. Great pics. Yeah, I read that you "could" get 6" in there but not w/o modification. I have this beautiful set of 6" Alpines I've had since I had my 2004 GTO (RIP) ready to be installed. I've been looking for the correct 5.2" size but damn, I got these here already.
I"ll have to get some pics of my progress so far. Anyone want to see the 15" sub box I'm working on installing? lol.
lol. Ignore those pics. I was going to say "pic for attention" but cant get ride of the two I got uploaded. How do you delete from your gallery?? These pics are old...
I thought I read way back that the 6" only needed minor modifications to fit. I say do it if you have the speakers. I had the 5.25's laying around, so they went in.
Always enjoy pics and projects. Post 'em up.I"ll have to get some pics of my progress so far. Anyone want to see the 15" sub box I'm working on installing? lol.
When I open it, it takes me to http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/1...e/untitled.jpg, and all I see is the same image as CHI2000GT his post. Nothing to click on it at all.
OK so I was going to get some burr bits and a die grinder but my compressor is a pussay.
So I bought these Dremel tungsten carbide burrs for a whoppin $14. Turns that little fcker into an animal.

All I needed was one bit to get 2 degrees on the passenger rear and 1.5 on the drivers side.
Slotted the top and used this Android spirit level to figure out the difference from last weeks alignment.
Thats pretty nifty. Is your compressor tight or is it like tossing a hotdog down a hallway? Heckuva bunch of burrs you got for the price. I used a Dremel on mine too, but like a $4 4pc set. Amazing how much a nice sharp burr can do.
I haven't noticed any more hot flashes with my GTP, its doing good. Done some blog updates lately though, for them that like old fixed junk-

i give it 3 days, then loud again lol
is that a tomato soup can? lol we used to use coffee cans back in the day, cause they were super thick, and then hose clamp it on there lol
Maybe. It is a diced tomato can thickest I could find. Some mesh and putty under the can and then wait a day and puttied up the rest of the seam. We will see how long it lasts. Got 5 bucks into it.
I would take that 90 dollar system in Spokane if someone wanted to deliver it to Minnesota. 🤔
