funny you say that. this morning my car was coated with dust, then where i parked it, i just knew a bird would crap on it. i got back from work and the car is now coated with green dust, and of course one load of bird crap on the roof. you put the effort to make it shine and your work gets sh it on literally lol

Failed at tinting the 06's rear window. Had 3 tries but each time creased at least one corner. Did the rear side windows successfully, but it wasn't easy. Shrinking as usual was a little difficult. Then tried the front windows, failed epic-ly. All the tint wanted to do was fold up and crease, no zig-zag patterns when I ran the heat gun over it.
I got the tint from tint-pro on ebay. I did the exact same thing last year on my 02, same seller and same %. Had 0 issues with the install on that. Tint shrunk like a dream. Today? Nope, didn't even think about it. I made a quick video on my final piece of tint after going through all the rest.

Sent that to the seller, idk if they changed the tint they used but its garbage.

fyi, your supposed to cut the corners straight out from that faint line, then tear the extra off via that score line, then do the outside of the glass test fit, shrink and then install on the inside.

This is not a pre-cut pattern. I bought bulk tint from that guy, which is the same stuff as what he would put in his computer cutter. So it was just on a roll untouched from the start. I like to cut my own side windows, I cover the whole window. His pre cut pattern for my 02 was lacking.

i see. and that sucks. i got their tint a few years back and it went ok. im redoing my doors cause they got messed up over time, i just ordered pre cut for the doors from them. been waiting to put it on. i cut my own doors out of a roll first time round.

Yeah let me know how that goes, like I said the same tint last year worked fine. Probably like yours did. But yeah really annoying, I wasted a lot of time trying

Their air cutoffs imo suck major donkey balls, I went through 2 because shortly after using them you could stop it pretty easy and it wouldnt rev up high.

They are 100% crap, agreed. But they are priced and tossed accordingly for the shotgun effect. Some are better than others randomly. The motors in the drills sure last a long time though. Not long ago I gave away a five gallon bucket full of non-working stuff like those die grinders. Its like Grand Prixs... you can get by like a normal person if you have enough of them and steadily buy and junk them.

In all fairness and also like GPs, plenty of clean air and oil works wonders. I was facing about a hundred plug weld holes the other day and my last drill was suckin hind tit. 3-4 drops of oil and zip zip again. Had it five years now. Our compressor at work is a hot rod too so theres always plenty of nice dry air.

Been awhile, but I've been tuning the car a bit. I'm up to 17.5* WOT timing @ 11.2:1-11.1:1 (commanded) AFR. Bumped my shift points up to 5900, etc. No KR at this point, but I have 2* KR around 20% throttle so I have a little bit of fine tuning to do, probably with AE or something of the sort. I was able to go from 30 MPH-100 MPH in 12 seconds last weekend, and that was before I added some timing and fuel. That's a little slower than I'd like to be, but I can't beat on it too hard until I get the other transmission done and installed. I haven't gone that "fast" since last weekend, but yesterday I went from 30 MPH to 60 MPH in under 3 seconds (insert oooos and ahhhhhs here)...ironically on my way to the chiropractor lol.

I also have a random misfire on cylinder 4, only at idle, and it's not that bad. I've basically narrowed it down to the injector. Different coil, different ICM, new plugs, new wires, etc. It never ends.

Is that a cat's tail or are you happy about the rotors?
