installed my used ebay camaro front brake setup onto my 04 GP.
got the snow tires and wheels off, bled the brakes since i did a new master the other day and had a mushy pedal still, had to go get two used tires for the stock wheels and found a pair of goodyear eagle rsa's with 70% life for 100 mounted and balanced. car rides so much better with 16's vs the 17's. idk how you guys like them larger wheels, 20's must really suck.
so while at the shop i see somethings not right with my corner tail light.
seems some douche bag thought it needed to be broken. must have been a shopping cart. i got no idea how long its been like this, dint see any red lens where i park yet. that nice scratch there, was already there.
pic of sts's wheels back on.
Nobody respects a regal Scotty sorry to see that

New lca, Dorman Sway bar, endlinks.
Found that my driverside end link before I changed them was broken and wedged into my lca... So I've been driving with out a sway bar for who knows how long. Didn't get it all finished today. I should be able to wrap it up tomorrow
I really wanna do swaybars on mine but dont wanna swap styles and LCA setups
It's not horrible... It does take quite a while though. If it wasn't for my dad I would have been way over my head. But as you can tell from my pictures. It needed to be done. Wresting with the new sway is a pita trying the find its way from one side to the other.
more of a cost then work involved, im dealership tech so that is childs play. I just want to get something thicker than what I have currently since I have teenie bars
Connected my motor to my zzp stage 2 trans. Tomorrow the heads are going on
Yeah swapping lca's on these cars is easy. Until you encounter Satan's bolt, then it turns into a 2 hour job. My front LCA bolt was rust welded to the bushing collar. Heat it? Nope its all rubber around it, you'll smoke out the neighborhood. Hold the bushing? Nope its rubber and will slip. Hammer it from above? Did it, just bent the sub frame lol. A mix of impacting from below and hammering from above got mine. At the same time, so second pair of hands were included. I have had the same encounter at work on a w body, I eventually got it on my own.
I got lucky on mine it was seized slightly, but i Could jam a screw driver in the bushing and it let go.
I installed LEDs in the tail lights (194s) and reverse lights, and I've been fighting with the ****ing front ones for 3 hours. No matter what I do, I can't get the 194s and the 3156a's to work together. The parking lights will not work. I have voltage at the pins, but the light won't work. Here's the thing. I install an incandescent 194 and the parking lights on the 3156a work great. Passenger side works, but the parking light seems to be a little dim....any ideas?
Subbed, because like the last one (thread) its a morbid curiosity!
Like watching a train wreck!
I didn't really have a problem on any both besides the inner most sway bar bushing bolt... Holy crap. I got extremely frustrated with this. It wasn't big enough to fit a Rachet in and there were break lines or something in the way that I couldn't get the wrench into.
you must be talking about the drivers side rear facing mount/bushing bracket. i lower the sub frame 2 inches. adds all the room to use a ratchet with out tagging the brake lines and risk breaking one. im sure they are all rusted to hell looking. you dont want to disturb them much is avoidable at this stage of their fragile life.
Yes exactly what I mean. And I was careful not bang on them to hard... Becuase you are right... They looked pretty rough
next time, put a jack under the middle rear of the frame, back the two rear sub frame bolts out 2 inches, and then lower the jack to the bolts. but leave the frames weight on the jack still, dont let it hang on the bolts.
