I used Meguiar's Carpet & Upholstery cleaner, a Carran carpet and upholstery brush to scrub the dirt and grime loose. Used a terry towel to remove the residue.
Here's the towel afterwards cleaning all the belts. The front two were dirtier with the driver being the dirtiest.
Good reminder on seatbelts (they are one thing that gets scrubbed when a new used car comes into play), I'm like Pigpen from peanuts when I get in my car after work.
I got lazy and decided to just skate down the sides of the GTP with black wax while its warmish today. It helped and I feel slightly less negligent.
I should have done something like that today myself, but I decided to be a lazy bum and stay indoors. It will be hard to get anything like that done after work now that the time has changed.
If by today you mean week, here is a list
Installed Headers
Dropped pulleys (3.4 to 3.3)
Tuned a bit more using DHP
New alternator (old one caught fire)
Picked up Dad's new work car, '98 Buick LaSabre:
Bought from a friend who had it for two years, but never drove it - he bought it from the original owners who were older folk who had it religiously serviced every 3k miles. Series II 3800, 206k miles, minimal rust, clean interior, one dent, small windshield crack, might need rear break pads, one meh tire.
$500, seems like a good deal.
Stone grey metallic how much though? Little tight on cash after brake upgrade and exhaust work
