I bought them on eBay. They came for a pair of smoked halos for a little under 300. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought they'd look better tinted

When I bought the car my rear and headlights all leaked. I managed to get those taillights for around the same price as a pair of OEM ones. They don't leak which is great. What's left to decide is who makes the best spray tint so they can be tinted

As I found out, VHT will fade after a couple years, even when clear coated.

I mixed up some Dupli color paint shop finish sytem jet black and clear, then cleared over that. I used the HF purple gun.

Before wet sanding and polish a month later

Okay, so I'm up north for Thur-Sat this weekend doing alot of land clearing for our property to get it ready to next spring time. Anyway, saturday morning I'm waiting to go to breakfast with my parents and family friends (they stayed at our friends cabin, I stayed at ours), I go to leave and decide to take the "shorter" way to town which is only 2 miles away. I hop on the dirt road to get their 2 minutes faster and just moving along, there at two hills in a row with semi steep tops where you gotta be mindful of other possible cars.

I get over the first hill just fine and second nature comes into play and I slow down coming up the second and move over to my side of the dirt road. I get just to the top and here comes this white grand prix just ****ing flying in my lane, literally no time to think or anything here people. She see's me and slams the brakes and cranks it hard right and back left and there is no stopping you when that happens. She was doing at least 60 mph while I was maybe doing 35 at the top of the hill.

I see her in my rearview going towards the ditch hard and missed her flipping over as I got to far ahead by this time. Likely flipped twice but she was wearing her seat belt ateast and came out with a scratch. I back up thinking the worst here of course and straight up told her was going WAY WAY to fast and this kind of **** is going to happen, she even admitted to going to fast and not paying attention. She asked me if I had a chain to flip it over and pull it back on the road, straight up said no and that this thing is just a junker now. Like why would even try to help her, she could have killed both of us. Better kicker is that all 4 tires were just ****ing bald. She was some mid-aged lady with black ass teeth, prolly a drug user.

I stayed for maybe 3-4 minutes to make sure she was fine and then I just ****ing dipped, I was not going to be a part of anything here. She caused her own crash and was being stupid for going that fast.

Exactly, she even had the tow company on like speed dial. As if like she's had this kinda crap happen before. She asked me to call the tow truck from in town, I didnt even answer back to that. First off, I'm not even from around here and secondly I wouldnt want to help her anyway unless she was actually hurt.

Hey now, I didn't crash nor any damage to my property. She was so out of it and she even said at one point to just leave. Cops couldnt charge me jack anyway, so what if I saw anything.

So I got the heck outta dodge before she even got my name/plate/any other info. Besides she wasnt about to call any cops anyway. It would take 20-30 minutes atleast before any county sheriff could show up, we at out in the middle of no where really.

so if i see a crash i "have" to stick around? if your car is not involved with damage, you can leave.

unless you have the spare time to call and wait for the cops to really hang the woman.......

and fleeing is when you hit someone and take off. not the same thing here. at no point did any cars touch.

FFDP, glad she didn't clip ya. Heck I figured they engineered the instant flip if yank wheel feature out of the 04+, guess not. Oh wait they call that MagnaFlip don't they? The other night I met a newish car on a dark twisty dirt road in the GTP... I was only going 20-25 tops but suddenly was blinded by brights as I rounded a corner and had to guess-aim for the ditch and slam brakes. As soon as I got stopped, they did too and THEN they started fumbling for the dimmer. Thanx, fux. lol

You need to do some suspension work junk, my 02 can take turns real hard without any issues. My 06 however has less done to it and doesn't handle as well, which I miss that about my 02.

Tell me something I didn't already know Bluack026, lol (susp work). I'll never get used to IRS, drove with straight axles and recirculating ball too long and my reflexes are tuned to that. I don't want to lose that but would love to ditch the FWD! With the GTP in curves, I've found what I have to keep in mind is: Every degree of steering wheel turn you input, you have to take back. Meaning never turn the wheel much or quickly. Or try to go fast at all. Always wanted a car that handles good, never had one.

Oh boy I wouldn't say that! All it takes is a low tire or a little gravel on the asphalt. I urge you to find a safe spot and exceed the limit of lateral traction just once, if you never have. Because its all good until it ain't y'know?

Incorrect. There is no law requiring a witness to stay at the scene of an accident. He was not directly involved in the accident and he has no obligation to stay and help.
