Wow you might not even need a car at all then lol. I thought I didn't drive much, my average is 3.5-4k miles a year. Your gp has a lot of miles on it though right?

Yea, somewhere north of 239k. Gotta remember I've replaced the engine, transmission, and complete suspension though. As it sits now, It might get 12-15 miles a week. Since it's started cool off my wife will probably start walking to her mom's twice a week with the kids so it'll get driven less than 10 miles a week lol. Once we move closer to Springfield that'll change though.
I've done 5 miles a day on avg for past 6-7 years LOL.
I owned my 2000 GTP for nearly 5 years and only put on 21k miles or so before I sold it.
Hell I do forty or fifty GTP miles every weekday in moderate to thick traffic. The scary thing is, thats average (12K/yr)! Been doing it 4.5 years so far, but before that I lived closer to work. Need to move, bad. The GP goes fifty miles or so a week, and the GT maybe 12 or 15 at this point. You guys are doing it right!
250 a week minimal just to and from work then no telling how much it gets driven on the weekend if I end up doing something.

There's pluses and minuses. It get horrible mileage and I have to change the oil every 3 months since it never really get's to operating temperature. That and it's a fun car to drive, I look forward to driving it a bit to work.
I bought it 2 years ago with 227 and put 12k on it since then, but a lot of that was trips up to Springfield when my wife was pregnant with my daughter and such. There for awhile it was 4-500 miles a week on that crap.
Yeah, even though the tanks last 14-20 days or so, the fuel mileage was 14-16 in the summer and 9-11 in the winter time. I bet in the winter I got 125-140 miles to the tank and summer was 200-230.
My truck gets the same mileage now too and it's way bigger and has a larger motor haha.
sounds exactly like what i get. fortunately i only drive about 60 miles a week
GTP eats right around 11 gallons a week on my commute. What blew me away is when I put the 455 in place of the 400 in the GP, it does better on gas. The 455 has a smarter cam choice, thats the difference. The 400 had the "second from the bottom of the list" cam, lol.
I've done about 1600 miles in the last 17 weeks. The funny part is I haven't been working since slightly before that. I think not working is making me run around just as much, if not more. Some of that is probably partially from running around getting supplies for my Stealth "restoration."
so i went over to help my land scraper pal out with some maintenance and repairs.
hes like this one somethings up with the carb, so he just starts taking it apart, im like ok, im gonna go fix my gas tank vent hose.
cut my metal hose and then put some old lawn mower gas line and its clamps on there, im done now with my crap lol
so i go back to help him out now and he blowing the carb off and blowing it out aka cleaning it up nice. we put it back on and its still running like crap popping out the carb......im like you check the spark plug at all? says "nope" lol
so i take it out and HEY! look at this!!!!!
so i find another plug, cause any plug is better then this one at this point, pop it in it fires up with 1/2 a pull and runs like its new lol
next hes like this one needs the parking brake adjusted, so i get to looking at it, im like this is bent, so i bend it back, and its way to easy to bend back, felt the back of the bracket and its cracked. now to beat a roll pin out and pull the whole brake apart.
he welds it back up, i slide it back in, then im looking at the other brake lever, and its no longer got teeth on it to push into the tire. so im like weld 4 1/4 high claws on here and then grind it clean. i wish i took a pic it almost looked like a new part lol after it was back on, hes like thats the part i welded? cause it looked so much like the other he wasn't sure what side he just fixed lol
I was helping my cousin try to figure out a miss and overheat issue on his Civic. He starts pulling plugs to check the condition. Well he gets to #4 and says, "Well, I found on why I am missing."
Pulls the top part of the electrode out that the boot attaches too and fishes out the rest of the plug that looked like a tube, because the rest of it was gone.
Put in some 05 front seats in my 99. Gonna get the back ones in tomorrow.
Changed oil on all three cars and then did window motor #11 today on the old man's Buick... first one on that car actually. He was surprised I was able to do the job in about half an hour... I replied that it was nothing new to me lol
Tint looks good, Red.
Finally got around to replacing the left rear tire on the GP since it went down 2 weeks back on my way home from the VH concert. Also managed to make the time to wash the GP, Bonne and Vic and vacuumed 2 of them. Been trying to get them clean for a month now. Felt like riding around in a sh*tbox. Even polished out the headlights on the Vic to get rid of the haze. Look so good the wife thought I bought new ones, lol.
