You dont want to watch people die kyle. I watched my grandma die and it wasn't fun. I had a pressman (dave anderson) run out to a crash scene and couldn't sleep for 3 weeks. Do you want that to happen?
I thought I witnessed my dad's death once. Long story short, he did a barrel roll and landed on the passenger side in my Bronco II not 100 yards from where I was standing. Thankfully he put his seat belt on and walked away basically unscathed. The Bronco on the other hand was not so lucky. LOL
There was another time a large group of 3000GT/Stealth owners were in State College, PA for a PA gathering. We were out on a cruise and got stuck behind a 18 wheeler on a 2 lane road. One by one we passed the truck as we had clearance. We head down into a dip and start back up a long hill. I'm further back in the pack and listen to the 2 way radio as some people are saying "There's a car coming, everyone hold steady." All of a sudden I see my friend Kenny jump out to the other lane to pass the truck anyway. People are screaming on the radio for him to tuck back in, but he continues on. I'm watching him, holding my breath and watch as he tops the hill and disappear, and 1/2 second later I see the other car everyone was talking about.
He missed it by inches. The reason he kept going after all the warnings.... he didn't have a 2 way in the car.
Thanks, that 40th was in beautiful shape. This is the first time I've ever not seen the dash pad's underside sticking up past the bezel, over the IP. But that dash pad is the one I tripped over and cut my foot while breaking it (02 dash) at the front. Time healed toe and superglue gel today held up fine on the dash. There was of course an ugly spot where someone adhered something to the pad.
Bad as I wanted to do bumper today, I had to stick with my dash plan. Maybe tomorrow. Heres what I use in place of 3M finesse-it III or whatever its up to now. Its just what was there when I went, ha ha:
On the bumper crud, before polish-
With one of these-
wearing one of these-
Followed by this, with the #82
Flushed my coolant today, only time i have bleed a system. I took it for a drive, heat on high. Came back, hit the bleeder screw, and only coolant started coming out the little hole. That means no air bubbles in the system?
Not always, but pretty much. If the temp isnt bouncing around, then it's likely bled just fine.
And you don't even need to turn the heat on, coolant flows through the heater core 100% of the time.
Replace GTP plug wires and RF fender splash shield, disable ABS for safety. Yesterday. Amazed with transformation from new tires, it takes bumps like a GP should now. Running smoother too.
edit: Post #2,000 goodbye gtp hello gxp level.
Matt doesn't want an Audi.. he likes his power raw and unbridaled, not smooth and consistent
Damn skippy, make mine crude and unrefined like a tri-power 421. I like stuff that hits like a .45, not a spit wad. What the heck is a GXP anyhow? Prolly wrong wheel drive lol.
Went to the JY to get a new Evap Canister hose that runs to the throttle body. Picked one off of a LeSabre only to fond the hose is shaped differently. I'll have to go again and find the correct one. Why would they make a different one for the same motor?
