Welcome to the 4x4 side.
You'll never go back after 4x4 lol. Unless you're more into looks than a little bonus functionality.
I got tons of work to do on cars when it warms up, it's not even funny. That's what happens when every car in the household and neighbors is 12 years old, or older
The next weekend that Lee works days, I'm taking over the garage and taking wheels off the SS and giving them a good cleaning all over and polish. I really wish I could have found some cheap LTZ wheels to run during the winter. This was only the 2nd winter the car had seen since brand new. I'd like to preserve the ss wheels as much as possible.
Started the trans cooler install:
I considered doing a write-up, but I'm way to impatient for that. Probably a parts list and some pictures when I'm done though.
This explains why I haven't been getting notifications for this thread.... I just found this one. Well that shows how active I am on here anymore..
Took it for a drive into town, got me some yard tools, leaving Home Depot got into the pedal some, scared my wife when the rear got sideways after 1st to 2nd shift...with an AUTO lol.
Driving to work today going about 65km/hr the RPM needle plummeted to the pin and didn't move again for 5 minutes. The TCS light became illuminated as well.
Car continued to shift as normal and no other adverse effects. happened? At the next light I turned it off and back on and everything was fine for the rest of the drive.
Thoughts on this before I post an actual thread on this stupid subject? Car is a 2000 GTP
I haven't driven the car in a few days, but my wife drove it to get breakfast today. She walked in and I could hear her say "Man, I f*cking love that car" lol. Kinda made my day.
