Long day. Soldered all kinds of crap and cleaned up a bunch of wiring, my wife laid Peel N Seal after I pulled the interior, then I started the wiring for the alarm controlling the windows. So far so good!

Redid my passenger front tint, and finally successfully installed tint on the rear window. Shrinking is hard on the back window. Only made 2 creases this time which was worlds better than any other attempt of mine. So with a friend I installed it. Pics tomorrow. Looks good minus 2 creases. The tint guy gave me a drivers front piece for free, good, because that one could get re done.
Started my new job down in Texas the other day.. looks like I'm the oddball out, and the fastest car here
Already ran them. Pulled on the red car, and just barely pulled on the bullit.
The best part about it is parking a block away and walking there..
Did an oil change, dropped the filter getting burning hot oil on myself.
Promptly got pissed and launched the filter into the next county.
So far its been a decent morning
I was wondering why that Fram filter was in my lawn this morning...
got a case relearn done for the overkill pcm i installed the other day. is it strange that my temp gauge never goes above 180 despite still having the 195 tstat in ? so far the cooler temps and the loss of 2 mpg according to the DIC , is the only difference i can see. i'll give it another tank full to learn the car and if it doesn't improve i'm going back to stock. i don't know if it's because the pcm was set up for a different build with a few more mods or what ,guy i got it from said he had it set up for 1.9 rockers and a 3.5 pulley , but i expected a little more difference givin all the rave reviews about overkills pcm.

Drove it to a Nissan dealership. lol
No, I didn't get rid of it. I actually went there to assist my mom who bought a CPO 2012 Rogue. The salesman asked me about it and complimented it. He told me that's one I should keep and just put away. lol
Tint pics. It's all good enough for me except the LF one, a few creases so that will get re done soon. Not bad for my first time though. If I did it all again I could do it so much better.
A handful of creases on the back window but oh well, can't see it from the inside, and you have to be close to see it from the outside.
Yup, $230 for the full job, from a guy that my friends use, he gets it perfect with a warranty. I used one of those $27 tint kits on ebay, but I can say that rear window was my 3rd attempt. 1 and 2 didn't make it on the window at all, shrinking was the delicate part.
Few more
You can see a crease or two on the back in this pic
Not easily visible on the inside
50%/20%

$230 sheesh that's kind of high lol usually in my area $160-180 will get it done with a lifetime warranty. The guy that comes around and tints the cars at work I think charges like $140 or so. When the time comes might have him retint mine once I pull all the old crap off.. Way to impatient and way to damn not for me to attempt it myself.
