If you get pulled over at night just pop the overhead light on. It helps "hide" the darkness of the tint immensely.

Yeah at night that pretty much makes the tint look like its not there, since the light is then on the inside. Especially with my led interior lights.
When I get pulled over its windows down, keys in hand and both hands out the window lol. Let's just say its a habit from one (20) too many stops when I was a teenager.
I do that whenever I'm carrying a gun in the car. Hands out the window, they ask "Why are yours hands out?" Me "I have a gun right there (pointing with my hands outside the car still)." I know it's not really needed but it's a respect thing, IMO. Makes the whole stop go over easier too, lol.
Yep, a respect thing. I've learned exactly what disrespecting a cop gets you. Figured I would reverse that and keep some knees out of my back. This was in another life, but I literally could not count how many times I've been pulled over or how much K9 dog hair has been in my car.
fixed the last exhaust leak, welder got off the hook. installer error. i took the band clamp off and it was just not right, had to loosen up the rear res clamp, spin the dp a bit to line up more square, then pull the engine forward and it lined up flush and clamped on tight and square, silence is golden.
I dont think he saw my tint he just asked if they were tinted so i said yeah. Soon as he flipped the blues on i rolled windows down, turned on the dome light, pulled into a parking lot turned off car and put muh hands on the wheel.
He walked up and asked for my insurance, lic, rego. I'm like "okay they are in my pocket im gonna get them ok" hes like "yeah i would hope you would" so i respond like a retard "i just didn't want you to think i was reaching for something else" not the best thing to say at 4am lol
i have my paper work ready when they come up, with it in my hand out the window. roll the windows down so he can see inside.
when i had my gmc trucks the back windows were limo tint black, you could not see in at all. when i got pulled over in either them trucks both hands out the window every time. just to put him at ease.
i will say tho, when they spot light me in my side view, i openly push that mirror so im not blinded lol f that crap sir, not once has one cop said a thing about me doing that. my guess is they just dont want you to see them walking up. mirrors worthless with that spot light in in.
the way i see it is all they can see when they spot light me is my face. if your mirrors are set up right. why it blinds you.
i think they dont want you to see them walking up clearly or some thing......wheres the cops. we got a few here. why you guys do that to us? lol
they aim it right at the side view mirror. then i push the whole mirror to the side so it no longer can blind me.
im talking about that spot light mounted the cop cars A pillar frame.
So apparently the car got back at me for giving all my attention to the Stealth. I noticed a low beam out when I stopped at Arby's earlier.
Bought a Timken off rockauto for the front left wheel bearing because it had a crap ton of play.... Today it finally let off the rain long enough to get the job done. Get everything on there all right only to find out that while the play in the driver side wheel is gone, the passenger side was the one making the roaring noise. A duralast wheel bearing, quite a bit of pisstivity, and another hour later, and no more front wheel noise. Between that, the new air filter, and the c clamp, I didn't expect this to be a $250 day.
Oh, well. It's fixed now
4 relatives who had never ridden in the 69GP did today. Such brave souls, there was lots of tire smoking and a dab of WOT to 4,500+ top gear operation and much fun was had. Many grins too, bunch of us broke away from our reunion and poked around the hot rod shop. There was something for everyone, and yesterday I flogged the GTP a tiny bit too. Standing among a dozen cousins was cooler, and the chow was way tasty.
Friday night about dark, a couple stoplights up the highway from my interstate onramp, me and the sweet 'P are waiting for green all by ourselves...
when up rolls a red 4th gen Firebird with brights on behind me. They change into the clear lane and stop halfway through the crosswalk and I'm checkin the surf waves going on in the right tail. Come green, I squeeze off the GTP with a li'l squeek over the paint line then romp it to the speed limit 45 and lift / cruise. Dusted em, it was prolly an auto sixer. They were more distracted than doing anything but most folks speed more than me so of course big ricer flyby. Got onto the Interstate and truck in right lane is coming while us 3 are on the ramp- one car ahead of red bird with me way back. They stared at the truck too long and didn't see the Honda in front of them not merge ahead of the truck...
They baarely came to a smoky sideways halt feet from the sedan as they nailed it when the semi passed. Had I been up there I'da been toast but I could tell the driver was off so cut plenty of slack on the ramp. About ten miles later they found low beams for a few moments but did OK after the wake up call. Glad of it, and got vid of whole deal so coolio. No kill but I also lived. Hopefully that will be the best story of my week!
Also got a steal on some 16" steelies off a Buick LaCrosse, an '05... with like-new tires on them, for the princely sum of $50. They found their way to my Dad's LeSabre so now even he has new rubber
