yes I did was gonna put one from my 99 in it but they are different, and if I try to give it gas it will run about one second longer, no pops or sputter it just dies
So when you just unplugged the maf and tried to start the car there was no change it how it acted?
none at all, well maybe ran 1 second longer lol if at all.
I guess I can take my fuel pump out of my other gtp and see if it makes a difference lol
And there is no codes.
I was thinking that but thought they failed when car was hot, and would start again when it cooled down, on a side note, I have been hearing a clicking noise under the dash for about two weeks, and now when I was trying to start it I noticed I cant turn the heat on or up, is my main computer going bad maybe?
once they fail they wont throw a code. also if your thinking its the pump do you hear the pump when you turn the key to the on position? i had a fuel pump go and it would run for 2 seconds then die. was really easy to fix tho
when I first turn key I hear pump, after I motor quits I can hear it for a second, I do have a blown up gtp in garage ill try switching out pump this weekend, see if that does it, if not that I guess crank shaft sensor, unless any other ideas lol
Well I put in my other pump that I knows good, same thing going on, heat don't seem to turn on ether. and the hud has gone bright and dim in the past, If I do css , does it have to get it programmed after I get it in car?
when I start car tach goes to 1000, idles and car quits, if I give it gas it get to about 3000 then quit and tach just goes to zero when car quits, no jumpyness
pull the vac line off the fpr on the fuel rail, see if gas comes out the line, if nothing comes out sniff the vac line, to see if you smell gas. if you find any of that it need s new fpr.
nothing came out smells fine
no change,
