Hey guys, just have a couple of questions about my car.

First off I'm wondering about my LIM gasket, I see a few puddles of coolant below the supercharger. I drive it everyday, it does not overheat and I smell no coolant burning or anything. My question is how dangerous is it to drive the car with this issue for a little while? I won't have the opportunity to have the car down until the weather breaks for another couple months, are things likely to get much worse in this period of time? I have no experience or knowledge with this as you can probably tell.

My next question is regarding headlights. I'm looking to get either the smoked stock style headlights or the stock with clear corners, does anywhere know where I can get one or the other? ive searched with absolutely no luck.

    Thanks for any help guys.

The LIM is the first thing most of us tackle especially if you are seeing the coolant pooling. Plenty of how to's on here, its not too bad a job. Not necessarily going to smell it burning.

Does it get worse overtime? Yes. Is it dangerous to drive with a "moderate" leak until you can fix it? Yes and no. Monitor your oil and coolant until you can have her down for a day (weekend if youre a first timer)

If the coolant mixes with the oil and Milkshakes... You're going to have a bad time. Its better to fix it along with the coolant elbows, injector O's, valve cover gaskets, fresh charger oil, plugs, plenum gasket etc etc. & be confident in your DD.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll park this car for the most part once the road salt clears and I can bring my other car out. Certainly don't want it getting to the point where the coolant is in the oil. I don't want to be putting a new engine in my daily.

For stock headlights, go to RockAuto. They should be around $40 each.
For clear corners, e-Bay. But from what I have seen in the past year, they are hard to find.
