There felpro's
yea i checked on rockauto i didnt see the blues ones
cant help much with knowing what engine is in the car.
this set is for a supercharged engine. http://www.autozone.com/external-eng...65894_57143_0/
fel pro grommets the n/a covers dont seem to come with them, kinda odd. http://www.autozone.com/external-eng...questid=352350
didnt want u think i was crazy lol lol yes it is weird so those are brown ones so i guess the blues ones is not big deal
my bad miss that its 3.8 n/a
your rite no biggie i didnt know it was some difference or not thanks
They will be blue. For some reason fel-pro hasn't updated their pics for the grommets.
ok thanks
redneck VC grommet rigging:
damn things are priced like gold....so if you remove em and they dont go back to the molded shape.....use a buncha old inj Orings on the vc bolts and it'll get em back tight.
i swear its like 17$ for the vc gaskets and like 50+ for vc with grommets....its 7$ for the BWD inj oring kits (i know the 12 grommet v6 kit is 274573)
**** the price for the felpro inj orings....
replace yer Orings and toss the old ones on the grommets.
put $ saved towards 10lb fire extinguisher for under drivers seat
Or..just spend the extra $5 and have the proper grommet in place with the correct pressure etc on the VC.
**** that, 7/16ths washers baby, screw grommets...we're going billet aluminum custom machined with cutting lubricant from the tears of engine owners who've killed an engine via roloc death
price out the vc gaskets and the gaskets and grommets and tell me that.
3$ in washers is good enough for me
And.. I've never killed an engine with a roloc, or the correct valve cover grommet.
It's the beauty of being able to disagree and still get the same good results.
