Just hit 330whp on 1.9 rockers, full stack wbodystore intercooler, e85, headers, 2.55 pulley, northstar tb, other stuff in my sig. Stock cam record is mine?

I think DJLamp with a white regal has you beat by 3 horsepower. Per the mods he said he had it didnt have a cam yet, but later went to a XP cam.

I have 4 or 5 differnt dyno charts from the last two years since I supercharged it. Progressively higher each time. I was pretty excited.

HP #s are the same as my S1X E85 car......Now with that being said, what did it make for torque? That's what would make or break a race vs. mine......

I wish I knew. It was at ice cream cruise and they were only doing pulls for the max hp contest. They didn't waste any time with torque unfortunately. Judging by my ability to hang with or beat cars that dyno 50 - 100 hp higher then me im going to guess ALOT. Really I dont care I was just pretty pleased and the crowd was pretty impressed.

That doesn't make any sense since hp is just a calculation based on torque. They should have provided torque numbers too.

If pulls are done in different gears it will definitely throw off numbers.

In the end a dyno is a TUNING TOOL. The real way to test horsepower is to run it down the 1/4 mile.

EDIT: Looking at the sheet you posted a pic of they gave you torque numbers. Those torque numbers seem very low compared to the horsepower so something is askew.

Bah. I should have figured people would freak out. Oh well. Grand prix forums is pretty negative anymore. Good thing we still have quite a few fun members around. I was just happy with the numbers.

I remember now because of the wheels. Did you go to the actual cruise on Friday night? There was a red grand prix there along with I think it was a silver bonneville

Almost a 140wtq less than my S1X car..... Not trying to be a hater or a dick but it seems weird that a boosted car on E85 would make less TQ than HP. Hope you can get it down the strip some time to see what it will do! Either way over 300hp on a stock cam is pretty impressive!

It's not negativity, it's realism. If the numbers are wrong then how can you be happy with them? I could go to my friend's shop and have him skew numbers until my nearly stock car shows 350 whp, when in reality it is closer to 210 or 220 or whatever. I guess I should be happy that my numbers beat your numbers?

As far as I'm concerned , my baseline run could show 115 hp and 125 tq
Then make changes to my set up ex: tuning , pulleys etc and re run.
If I see 125/145 then I know what I'm changing is working.

Back to what snowflake said is also key for somewhat reliable / realistic numbers as well

What you are saying is fine if you are running the same dyno, with the same calibrations, with the same person. Again, I could go to a dyno in the area and make 210 hp. I could drive straight to my friend's shop without making a change and it might show 215 hp.

The fact remains though that the torque number doesn't match the horsepower number so the run needs to be tossed in the trash.
