Hello everyone so heres the deal I have a 2001 3.8l not supercharged grand prix last weekend it started up for me but died 3-5 seconds later at first I thought it was the fuel pump but its not so I took the intake hose off and covered the intake with my hand I manually adjusted the air flow with my hand and I can make it run that way.. I've sprayed all vacuum lines with carb cleaner to see if it will change the rpms but no such luck... anybody have any other ideas I would greatly appreciate any help given

With key off, remove the IAC from the side of the TB. If it is in pieces, that's your problem. The IAC is the idle air control.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
