http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/...psipqcfgcm.jpg I don't think it's closing completely but looks like rain won't come in, there's only a few screws that are tight the other ones are just spinning around like the screw holes are stripped

The shade is still in there I tried adjusting the screws but some are stripped out and not sure if it's a moon roof or sun roof, will taking the star head screws pot allow me to take the sun roof out?

That's an aftermarket sunroof. Not a factory one. Likely you have a different headliner and this info for the factory sunroof May or may not help, that's a sliding sunroof not the "spoiler" style lift and slide from the factory.
no the glass will stay put. dropping the head liner will expose the tracks and workings of the sunroof. one side looks ok, you need to make them match.
maybe you can get a clip behind the screw that spins so it holds tight. or you'll be able to see if something else is missing or broken and laying in the head liner or cover.
What year is the car? Only the pre-97's had a roof that slid backwards and under. And they didn't have a plastic strip like that around the roof. Throw up a picture of the sunroof switch.
