    I was wondering if anyone new what the max wheel width fit on the 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix gt1. I want to put a wider than stock tire on my GP

    I would say 255s thats with the right size wheels though. Im running 235s up front on my factory 17in rims so you decide based on your rims.
    04 GTP-3.6 pulley, custom tuned, Intake, headers,thrush exhaust, al104 plugs, 180* stat, shift kit, flipped mounts

    255 is about highest i've heard of anyone attempting. most of us stick with 245s

    245/50/16 would be the max on the stock rim, but I think its not needed.

    225/60 is plenty of tread.
