I'm getting a 99 grand prix gtp without keyless (no RPO AU0). If it pre-wired for keyless, can I just get a module and plug it in?

I can probably sell you mine. Someone put aftermarket keyless on mine for some reason.

    One moment please. Researching.

Wow. I was way off. I suck.

Tbh, if you're gonna spend any extra money, just go AstroStart, etc for all the bells and whistles.

Someone put Aftermarket in mine, but it came with keyless. Idk why, but tbh I don't know much about that system yet.

I think it is #61, from what I read it's behind the driver information center. I did put in an aftermarket system in my old car which I can pull out and wire in, but if I can get a cheap factory module it would be easier

GTP's actually came without any receiver for wireless entry? I don't think so. Mine's an 02 and I needed a key fob, bought one online for like $8 and programmed it, and it works perfect. That inclues the horn blowing if a door opens when it's set.

Ya, it's strange the top end car with every other option wouldn't have it, but it doesn't have the AU0 RPO code for keyless:

AU0 LOCK CONTROL,REMOTE ENTRY(KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM) REMOTE ENTRY LK CONT(AU0)

You'd think if it was specially ordered with it excluded there would be a delete RPO code

Mine never came with a fob for the factory or aftermarket.

    And the Aftermarket was disconnected.

I bought the AM fob, plugged the module in, and it worked right away. /shrug

Are you saying you purchased an aftermarket keyless and it plugged into the factory connector? I know the aftermarket system I put in my old car I had to splice in a bunch of wires at the BCM so it could control the locks, etc
