I've had witerforces. And l loved them as they lasted about 3 times as long as my blizzaks and were almost as good, except in deep deep snow and ice... Anything under 8" and they were great. .

So now I want to try something else. And am looking at 3

    Continental Extreme winter contact

    General altimax arctic

    Blizzak ws70

The general and continental are actually ahead of the blizzak on tireracks survey ratings which really surprised me..

Also I will say this. I will be putting a lot of miles on these tires. ( about 3500 miles/ month ) and am worried the blizzaks will burn out to quick...

Here's a little writeup on one companies top winter tire review.

I roll Michelin X-Ice here in the cold north. Putting them on next week. Had no issue last winter with em, my buddy drove em on both his gp too.

Had Blizzaks on my old '00 in the past, they were good too, but they melt like there's no tomorrow whenever the asphalt is in the sightliest warm.
