all my struts are bad
all the wheel bearings are bad except one lol
the drivers side door is missing the secondary seal(thin one that helps with wind noise) and its still quieter than my 90 bonneville that had good door seals
needs valve cover gaskets
cooling fans dont work
coolant system has air in it and I cant seem to get it out
I think I stripped my passenger side wiper arm cuz it only half ass works
needs heater blend door actuators (how much would a gm dealer charge to do this?)
alarm goes off randomly for a second or two. cant be bothered to fix that one
am/fm only works if its warm outside
my headlight switch and hud switch don't light up, I replaced the headlight switch itself and still dosent work (suggestions?)
heat extractors on hood are fading a bit
front bumper is cracked (have a new one for spring)
rockers are rusty
motor and trans mounts are shot
and drivers side seat is ripped a bit
runs like a top tho lol

You are quite a while away. About 4 hours or so.
Been on a six hour road trip and had heat the whole time till now it blows hot on drivers cold on pass anger then the driver just gets cold after a few sec any ideas

Check your coolant level and if it's fine flush your heater core

i just replaced my water pump had a bad baring.
sway bar on the passagerside is in two
i have a slow leaking brake fluid leak
i have had no abs or traction control for a year now (dont care to much about fixing that tho)
What's wrong with my car...there isn't enough words to explain. The lack of a 3800 turbo is a big one. LOL The fact that the stock 2.2 needs cam bearing and has low oil pressure is the other.
1. Transmission solenoid issues, most likely the PCS. Replacing that, the TCC, and the 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoids this weekend for peace of mind.
2. Exhaust leaks, one by the resonator flange, and one or two up around the manifolds. That's a summer project.
3. Rear SS brake lines got rubbed through, didn't know they were rubbing until the insulation was gone :/ I think I have air in the lines too, the pedal should be more firm I suspect.
4. Misc. exterior issues, like some paint that needs touching up and a reverse bar that needs clearing and sealing.
5. A/C doesn't work, due to a leak. Another summer project. Probably get a used compressor from Morad since mine seems to have aloud bearing, and get a new evap canister and orifice tube. I'll pick up a gauge set and a vacuum pump and do it all for under $100 myself
Overall not too bad for my first car. I got it (an 05 N/A) at 59,000 as a rental for my last year of high school in 2010. Within a year (after the warranty of course) it had so many problems from LIM gaskets and sticky lifters, to random stalling and Max Adapt shifts almost breaking my back. Now at a bit over 100k I'd wager to say I have to most reliable car of my family. I don't baby the car either, just ensure I'm very good with maintenance and catching things when they start. It also helps that I'm going to school for an auto tech degree, so I've got access to lifts and such whenever during the week days.
Posting in this thread to bring it back up, since I bought a new GP.
So here's the new list:
Clear coat fade like hell on the hood and starting on the roof. Havent decided what to do with this yet, either keep a beater bomb or repaint. Will need repainted before winter.
A little surface rust near the back strut tower. Nothing like the 99, though. A nuisance, not a menace at this point, but will need welded before winter.
Front bumper cover is cracked. May fix this.
Windshield washer pump is broken. I'm going to replace this. Thing is, I need to take the front bumper cover off to get to it, so I might end up replacing the bumper cover anyway.
Stock radio head unit has a soldering problem, the thing doesn't light up. If I upgrade I'll go aftermarket so I can get an aux jack.
Stock head lights and tail lights all suck. Checking the junk yard tomorrow ISO some non-ratty tails.
