Would using clear plastidip work okay? As in plastidipping a certain amount of the front of the hood. This way you could peel it off after a while if it starts to look bad.

Wouldn't clear Plastidip be about the same as clear bra?

I am more worried about when rock chips get on the hood. Can't pressure wash of a rock chip.
