Hey guys, I'm lead to believe my TCC solenoid is going bad. The car bogs down when it engages, timing drops by 5-7*, exhaust not depends/grumbles, and vibrates alot. I think it's also bad most importantly because it really likes to slam into engagement. I can be accelerating at 30
mph or 45 mph and it will drop over 1,500 rpms pretty harsh into TCC lock. Accelerating is near impossible when its engaged and my timing can go to the teens easy with a little push of the accelerator. Only way around it is to have a light foot or disengage it and rev the engine up to accelerate before it slams back in.
How will this ultimately effect the transmission? Sorry for the long post, feeling out of it n tired at the moment but it was on my mind.
