I am looking into some mufflers for my 98 gtp. Any suggestions? If it helps, I want something low and aggressive (like most guys lol) and that sounds mean when I'm getting on it. Just list some kinds that you recommend. Thanks!

Search. Bar.
good luck with that.
only set ups lately that sound good are the 2 ( or maybe 3 now) guys who have full 3 inch everything pretty much, and both are rather quiet and rather tame sounding. but way better then stock, or any other aftermarket muffler swaps. they all sound like crap to me.
that nice deep tone and rumble just dont happen with a 3800. its missing 2 cylinders.
its never going to sound low and mean, best bet would be searching youtube
The only thing your going to get out of it would be louder/tone with just a muffler (try to steer clear of raspyness)
Borla.....that is all
GXP.
Lol...3" exhaust and Hooker Max-flows... Best sound hands down! Even better with cam. I have it and love it. But as suggested, there's way too many samples out there, just search!
slp, got them on mine and love it, not so sure how they would sound on a 98 tho
Not my car, obviously, but I think this is the sound your looking for.
I like Borla or Corsa. Those would be the only mufflers that are aftermarket that I will throw on a GP.
Here's a useful link... But ultimately you've got to decide on your own.

I'm a huge fan of the Flowmaster super 44. Think it was the perfect low aggressive tone, without being insanely over the top and just sounding like a loose cannon. On my GTP Im running Solo-Performance Mach Mufflers, only because I wanted something more conservative because where I lived when I did it the cops were real strict + these Mufflers have minimal cabin drone. But if you aren't worried about the aforementioned get the Super 44's. I run them on my 85 Monte, f-in love em. And its the only muffler I've heard that can take any 5,6 or 8 cylinder engine and make it sound great.
