    hey guys,

Last night I was moving the 04 GP GTP out of the driveway, and the DIC said low oil level. After i stopped the car, checked the oil and the level appeared fine. Could this be a faulty sensor?

I just got the car, won it at auction pretty cheap. only driving i have done on it is pretty much moving it off the tow truck to the driveway. I plan to do oil, filter, coolant, plugs and wires before putting it on the road. the interior is a little rough, but the engine bay is very clean. any advice is much appreciated.

Do the oil change and see where you are then, if the low level light continues to be a problem then maybe it's a sensor.

If the dipstick reads properly, and the light is on, then check the wiring to the sensor. The sensor is located in the front side of the oil pan, between the starter and AC compressor. If the wiring looks good, I'd do an oil change and replace it.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
