I've unbolted the exhaust manifold, I've unbolted the head, EGR hose has been cut, I've unbolted the heater hose/tensioner arm assembly on the left side, and it's still stuck as hell.

How do I get this damn thing off the motor?

You removed all 8 bolts that hold the head on? If so mines wouldn't budge I took a pry bar and carefully pried it between a gap and then I was able to get the head off

There are 8 bolts per head 4 long and 4 short. And yeah sometimes that gasket likes to stick really good.

Take a flat head or pry bar and from the lim find a edge to pry.

Well, that did it. My GP's motor is now a headless horseman.

    Thanks for the help, guys.

Did you get new heads? Or you having your current ones rebuilt?

Might as well have them checked locally by a machine shop since you already have them off.
