It seems to be more of a headache to install a factory navigation system in my 2008 GXP than it’s worth. First off its 6 year old technology plus used factory nav units are still a little pricey. Here is my questions:

What is the best aftermarket navigation unit offered that will work with all of the features already installed on my 08 GXP? I have every option except engine block heater and nav.

I would like to install the nav unit and be able to plug into my existing wire harness, I don’t want to cut up the harness.

I don’t mind running extra wires (no cutting into the wire harness)

Is there a aftermarket nav unit that will work (plug and play) please let me know.

    Thanks

If you read the title of the thread you would have seen this thread talks about "aftermarket Navigation" different subject = different thread!

It's still Basically the same thread. And besides, you could have gone back and changed the thread title.

Basically the same? What does that mean??? Either the thread IS the same or different.

    Subject:

Factory navigation vs aftermarket navigation = Different (not the same)

Questions asked = different (not the same)

This means I will get different answers.

The factory navigation thread is still active because I still looking for “different” answers so no I’m not going to change the subject.

I’m looking for help and if you can’t add anything positive to this thread, feel free to NOT post.

Moderator please delete this thread if you determine the threads are the same.

Why do you have to be all offended? Having such a harsh attitude toward criticism of any kind will not get you far.

A better idea for the original thread would have been "pros/cons to factory nav and aftermarket nav"

And I am being positive, trying to help you out so you don't get flamed for being le noob.
