I don't believe so.. have you checked all the column to body connections? Have you checked that the ignition switch isn't bad?
Thanks for your reply. I will check the connections. I wish it would just quit it would make the trouble shooting so much easier.
try swapping ignition relays in the block doubt the relay is the problem but thats all i can think of from the limited information you posted
thanks
I pulled the plug on the HID lights that were installed on the car before we got it...I had noticed that there was an excessive voltage drop when the lights were on..I also noticed there were some uncovered wires so I taped them...so far all is well.. thanks all
I have a 1999 GTP SuperCharge.... I had the same problem for a bout 3 months.....I was sent by my auto mechanic to see an auto electrician..I knew where it was but the crazy auto electrician wanted to do it his way and cost me 5 days of car rental and 5 days with him (5 hours of work)...trial and error on his part! I told him it was near or around the fuse box and told him the history...In the end - less than 1 hour of work to fix it! THE FIX: There was a loose, nearly broken wire leading to the fuse box under the hood (green wire). It powered the fuel pump. It would move around and my car would just shut off. Tow it - the car would start just fine after removing from the tow truck. If I put my hand down and pushed on the bundle of wires, my car would start, so I knew where the problem was. I had already changed the fuse that was slightly burnt. They fixed the wire and all is well.
thanks,,,
