curious do you still have the factory engine mount in place or is that poly too. Im thinking your having issues because the motor sound is moving around more than the trans side.

May be since it's been a while since i've had this mount in i've forgotten what it really feels like. Bc at idle my car is surprisingly smooth but when I drive it thats when it starts to vibrate and my RPMs have a slow reaction almost like a small hesitation through out the RPMs. Weird......

Poly motor mount may help even things out with the poly tranny mount but then it'll be 10x more vibration. Ok I exagerated but it will add more vibration. The motor mount is actually fine, its the tranny mount that allows most of the movement. I think the bolts are straight through the mount so that probably explains why those bolts are grounding out.

What does ZZP have to say about any of this? Have they weighed in about the issue? Just currious cause Ive got the Intense upper motor mounts on there way and was thinking about doing the ZZP motor and trans mounts depending on how much vibration im having post upper mounts and vinnies spacers.

I've been talking to Steve, Turbo Tim and the other guy and they all think I'm crazy. They said they've never experienced what im experiencing right now. I just don't remember it feeling like this and I could've swore that if anything I should feel a lil more vibration at idle in park and smooth out as I drive but mines does the total opposite. You have a link to the tranny spacers? Maybe they may help mask the vibration

If you have vibration from a mount..it'll be in gear, especially sitting still.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

So.... why not drain the fluid out of a stock mount, and inject poly inside? Think that'd be a better way of doing it?

I mean I know while in gear but isn't it suppose to smooth out as you drive? In gear sitting still is a giving but not while your driving at 60-70 mph. Maybe its just me

The spacers are for my drop I recently did, they are motor and trans mount spacers to bring the geometry back to stock now that im super super low (not). Im getting vibrations while at stop lights only so im pretty sure my issue is different then yours but just wanted to join the conversation. My thoughts is that I screwed up my upper motor mounts while flipping the dob bones so I have a set of Intense Polys comin. If that and the spacers dont fix it I was gonna try the ZZP Poly Trans and motor mounts as im way too lazy to drill and fill stock mounts until I absolutely have too.

You have a standard hydraulic lower motor mount? Might be time to level out the car with that poly lower instead. Vibration at park and idle sure but after that you shouldn't have issues. I'm in a different ball park though LS4's don't make vibrations at idle like 3800's do

Funny thing is that Wbody store offers a stock looking tranny mount but claims it offers all the benefits of a polyurethane mount. It may be solid but I doubt it's equal to a polyurethane mount. Mind you the tranny mount I just took was a heavy duty mount from DEA from RockAuto. Yes its much beefier than a stock mount but the movement it still allowed was pretty evident

Why not just use this mount and get some dampening and have a SOLID trans mount for less than $25!!!
This is what I'm running in my 00 GTP.
Going on 4months now with no problems and a lifetime warranty if it ever does.

Of god not that mount, it will split from the top and bottom and be more harmful then a broken stocker in less than 3000 miles, ask me how I know. plus it allows alot more movement than a stock one ever would.

Lol, it does? Exactly how much power are you churning out of your Rocket!? I drive my car like I stole it from a police station and it has held up a LOT better than the stocker.
The hydro mount would last me about a week before I destroyed it.
Its the same mount ZZP sells but $40 cheaper.

It's just a H-body mount. But yeah my car is right around 12.7's and destroyed that thing in no time not even driving it that hard, maybe 3 auto-x's and a few times at the strip.

If it ain't a self made poly mount or the zzp poly tranny mount than your gonna have plenty of movement unless your close to stock torque power which in that case the stock and or solid version may work fine for your application.

Now I did go back and checked all my other mounts and noticed my torque strut mounts were too tight. I loosened them a bit and now I only feel a 1/4 of that vibration on acceleration. Word to the wise don't over tighten your mounts, yeah they say mounts can be tighten to infinity.....LOL, but there's a torque spec for everything believe it or not.
