may sound super dumb but ive had the same thing happen all because i didnt plug a few things back in so mack sure EVERYTHING is plugged back in mine was not plugging in the maf and evap system that created my problems
So here's an update on my situation.
I replaced the gas pedal with the accelerator pedal position sensor and reset the computer, then got the same code after driving for a few minutes. I sent the part back and got a new one from the factory repeating the process and got the same results. Next I cleaned out and then replaced the mass airflow sensor and still no luck. The same issues with the same codes. Any other ideas?
I'm with Mad Monkey. I had a similar fate when a vacuum line was off.
is that a process performed with a scanner?
I have now replaced the mass airflow sensor and still no luck. I did however just noticed that my serpentine belt is heavily worn and in need of replacement. If one or more Pully has slipped and my timing is off could that be causing this problem?
And at no point has any vacuum hose been removed, just the main intake tube with the maf assembly
Your belt has absolutely nothing to do with your timing.
yes, you will need a bi-directional scanner. Make sure the peddle is in its 0% throttle postion. When you start the relearn, the sensor output is recorded and used as your new baseline for throttle postion
if that doesnt help u might want to check for wiring problems between the app and tb
