How much do you think it should cost to detail your Grand Prix?

It depends. Professionals or your self. I do mine myself and probably have 100-200 dollars in supplies that I use...not counting the shop vac and all I bought

There's a couple other people cars I clean and wash for them and I charge 50 each time. Professionals charge a ton to do a full detailing

Also FYI I'm a huge fan of majestic solutions products. I order online and have not been disappointed yet.

It really depends on what you consider "detailing". Some people think detailing is wash, wax, and clean the interior while others go much more into detail and do things such as paint correction. Tell me what you are looking for and I can give you a pretty good idea on cost

Definitely depends on what you want done, On my own I base my prices off each situation, i just talk to the customer before hand give them a price based on what they want and go from there.

When I worked for a detail shop last year we charged 125-175 based off size of vehicle, usually included wash, wax, engine bay, wheels, carpet extracting and full interior wipe down. (not including special requests)

He's right and that's what killed my business guys were washing and waxing a car (quickie spray wax) vacuum interior, and armor all wipes called it detailing and people wanted me to match their 25.00 price but still give them my same service which was, hand wash and wax bug and tar remover where needed, clean engine bay wash what I could reach and rubber dressing on hoses, vacuum and clean trunk, vacuum interior shampoo seats use vinyal or leather cleaner and polish where needed, with cotton swabs clean inside ac vents, polish any chrome inside and out clean and dress tires put it on ramps and use a stiff brush to knock dirt off chassis them hose off chassis, if it had a vinyl top clean and treat it. Clean underside of hood and trunk Windex and rain-x windows, white grease on all hinge points. took about 4 hours a car.

If your idea of detailing is showroom new then you are going to be paying probably around $200 give or take about $100 depending on your area. If you are going for showroom new then I suggest that you learn how to detail yourself or atleast learn how to limit the amount of swirl marks that go into your paint so you can get the most out of the money you are paying to have your car detailed. If you would like more info on this then let me know and I can give you some tips and point you into the direction you need to go.
