I've finally gotten around to cleaning up my garage and ran across my old 160K mile N/A L36 with #1 piston missing. Motor still ran even with the piston gone but obviously the block is trashed. I'm down to the timing set and the rotating assembly (crank, cam and balance shaft). Is it even really worth it to pull all this from the block or should I just scrap it as-is? Lifters came out looking nice so I assume the cam is good? Not sure there is a used market for 5 piston assemblies, lol... Just weighing my options before I send it off for scrap.
