My Windshield wipers work fine, but when i switch them to off, instead of dropping, they just stay at the lowest point of their normal swipe while on

    Dem paint skillz

you need to take the wiper arms off then take the cowl off then bend the parking tab back where it belongs. google up wiper park tab for your car. you'll find a diagram. use images.

yup, thats when it happens most of the time. be careful when you take the wiper arms off, people have cracked the windshield. you need to pry them up and off. a small 2 gear puller would be the safe way to pop them off. but the claw of a hammer or pry bar works as well.

you need to pop the cap off, then take the nut off under the cap, then pop the arm off. pretty sure you just need the drivers side off. so you can get the cowl off on that side.

i call it being dumb, it happens tho. i just like to warn others. a little fear is a good thing.

its a cone shaped spline shaft the arm is on. not really spring loaded, the spring just keeps the blade tight to the glass.
