its your rack and pinion leaking, or a line blew. i can also hear the pump whining cause its now low on fluid. the cap for the p/s pump is uner the back of the alt, yes its a dumb place for it, wait for the car to be cold, use a long funnel to refill it.
jack up the car and get a closer look where its leaking from.
Its the ps, i always had problen with it getting low now it really spitting it out. So next pay day i gotta do something
Now thats a p/s leak. Ya don't see em leak like that very often. From a professional point of view, I would recommend a p/s pressure line assembly and a return hose. My personal opinion is if you are doing one, do both. Don't run the p/s low on fluid for any extended period as output shaft bearing is lubed by the p/s fluid.
Be careful when you fill it I overfilled mine and it caused pressure to build up and it blew the line
Just changed the rack n pinion on my LS a couple of weeks ago. If it is the rack, its not a hard job at all and depending on how many times the system has gone bone dry it may be worth your time to change the PS pump also which is even easier.
Also, rack n pinions are known to have leaks through the seals and pressure lines. So depending on how many miles you have(if its a lot) it'll probably be well more worth it to just change the whole rack since you would have to take it out anyway(most likely you would have to in the case that you did wanna just change the seals opposed to spending the money on a whole new rack)
Whatever it is just make sure you keep PS fluid in it and don't let it go dry.
And as far as the videos, one of your PS lines were definitely busted open. Crazy, bc from the looks of how fast that was leaking you may not be able to keep enough fluid in there to keep it from going dry. You just have to change it A.S.A.P.
Added PS Fluid same day of the video and it has yet to go low again, will change PS pump this week.
