He was asking $6500 already. And it has new tires, brakes, and spark plugs. A few people have already told me to flip the car at around $7500. I called my local GM dealer about a few things. Naturally had to give VIN so he could look up specific parts (supercharger oil, etc). The guy I talked to at the parts counter is very curious to see the car after I told him how much I was buying it for. He even said I could probably get close to $8K out of it. So I don't know why I would try to talk him down anymore from $5700.

    To save yourself more money?

Seriously, if you already negotiated a price WITHOUT buying it, and THEN tried to re-negotiate it lower...I'd think that's a total dick move and tell you perhaps you should look elsewhere.

Yea it could never hurt worse case scenario he says no and you just paid what he wanted. He's not going to turn down your money after all that.

Unless your a millionaire I don't see why you wouldn't at least try to lower the price. That's like me going into the dealership and asked how much for that and then signing my name..I could have plenty saved and best of believe I'm still gonna try to get it for cheaper lol. I have yet to here anybody post the actually price they want for there car there's always some wiggle room and what they're willing to actually take.
