Has anyone driven/own one? I just need to know how big the trunk and backseat is compared to a 4 door gtp? Im sure it isnt AS big but I dont want anything like the size of a 01 mustang backseat. If anybody has been in one.

And what do I need to test drive a car? I never have and want to go test drive one tomorrow.

Trunk is big for a 2 door sports car, back seat is for little kids. Good luck getting 4 adults in one with comfort.

Google the rest. Wouldnt doing research on a car be helpful instead of asking us?

Dont forget about insurance costs, fuel costs, repair costs. Everything is more with a V8 sports car.

I had an 04 M6 GTO for about a year. Used it as my daily. The get almost 30 mpg with lean cruise enabled on a flat highway going 60mph without a head wind. Add wind, hills, or increase speed, and MPG goes down very quickly.

The interiors are very comfy, but if you intend on putting a kid in the back seat, you will hate it. The seats move very slowly.

Insurance wasn't much more expensive than it is on my 04 Comp G that I have now.

Overall, it's a fun car. But if you are using it as a family car, I would suggest that you look into a G8.

^ If you plan for a family look into a G8. Constantly leaning over the front seat to buckle and unbuckle Jr. in the back will get tiresome before long.

I wouldn't worry too much about more $$$. The 04s use a LS1 v8, parts are easily available from several cars, the 05-06 uses a LS2 vette motor, might cost a little more for some parts, but most still aren't too bad considering.

Fuel is going to be about the same, if you keep your foot out of it they average the same #s, sometimes better. If you play all day tho, you will have pay for it.

I would not even think of putting someone in the back seat of old GTO! I love the performance of the GTO but just sold it last December. Most people dont even know they made GTO's in 2004-2006. If I were you I would get a G8 or the new Impala with either the V6 or V8 for 4 door comfort. I only used my GTO for cruise night or car shows. Since I sold my GTO I have purchased my second Buick GS 455!
