    that looks great how it turned out. im still working on my engine bay detailing but im waiting on my new msd wires to come in before i pull the coil packs and a few other things on the ls4 off for painting. what kinda paint should i use on the coil packs since they get hot? engine enamel? and should i clear coat

    They won't get hot enough were you would have to use engine enamel. It's purely optional but duplicolor perfect match is fine.

    I never recommend painting coil packs...but if you must, a light coat of duplicolor should be ok. Last coil I ever painted overheated and gave me a nice no start condition. As for clear, use a quality clear coat. Duplicolor clear will come off with gasoline, brake clean, and probably even water. LOL

    I really couldn't. LOL I started sanding them after I painted the red and they just got shinier and shinier...then they were polished.

    Well, 1 split in half, and they sent me another set for free, so I ran those. Never had another issue.
