I have a chance to buy this 2001 Grand Prix pace car for around 6000 and it has 40,000 miles on it. Is it a good price for the car and are the exterior lighting removable? Also I was wandering are those usually stickers on the paint or are those painted on. I have not seen the car in person so I am not sure and cant get answers from the salesman

I wouldnt be caught dead driving that think around lmao. Deffinitely rare, but if you can't remove all that stuff, i wouldnt spend much money on it. Unless you want it for a show car lol

Purely a collector car and probably shouldn't have 40 k on it for sure... I wouldn't take it apart or remove anything. If you aren't going to mothball the sucker and just show it off I would suggest passing it up and leaving it for someone who will do with it what should be done. You can get a 2001 and do a lot to it for the same $ with the added work of taking all the extras off!

    Just my $.02

Just found all the stuff can be removed. Its a GTP of course and has the leather and heated seats. So you think it would be a good buy or should I move on and look at others. Nothing other special about it, standard car stereo with equalizer which surprised me

Unless your buying to collect it..Pass. I would just shop around and find a standard gtp to buy and drive.

Personally id pass it up, leave it for a collector. There are many more gtp's out there for $6000.

2005 Grand Prix GTP, 170,000 miles. Speed daddy headers with no cat, cone intake, MSD wires, flipped dog bones, transgo shift kit FOR SALE.
2004 GTO six speed, stock for now.

Yes, I will let it go, not a bad price but much work to do on it. Leave it for a collector

Pass on it, if you buy it and strip it down you're a complete idiot. I had a stripped down version pace
car and despised whomever took off all the graphics.

It comes with all the paperwork, shirts, hat and other things like that in the trunk. It is not a replica for sure. Some rich family probably bought it for their kid

If you would for some reason reconsider and decide to get it and strip it down I would be interested in the rear facing amber colored lights on the rear window and under the spoiler along with the wiring and switches for it.
