I know how to remove the mirror from the car, but I was wondering how to remove the Glass part from the plastic housing. Also if I were to spray paint the housing black, what would I need to do, and what products would you guys recommend?

you push the mirror to one side, then stick your fingers in behind the glass, and carefully pop it off. warning, the mirror can break.

I was going to put in LED turn signals, thats why I need them off. What brand of paint should I use and should I sand?

i never used them, but the duplicolor paints seem to work well if prepped well and then wet sand them when done.

if you go to their web site they have all sorts of how to vids.

Bought color matched paint online, but never had time to do it... Stopped by auto body shop and for $70 they painted 2 mirrors color matched to car and did better job then I could, so worth it. Now I have a few cans of paint available for touch up, lolz...

But anyways... Here's where I got paint.
