Theres really not that many steps for a 3.4/3.5 setup.

Here let me break this down into a "million" steps:

    1: Intake

    2: Headers

    3: Plugs/Wires

    4: Pulley Drop

    5: Tune

Now if i can count right, thats only 5 steps.

I made the same mistake as this guy did, but I bought a ZZP 3.5" mps. Had that thing for over a year and a half before I got my headers.

And the thing he got from summit racing says can help your engine produce up to an additional 25hp. With proper supporting mods i could see that being possible.

    And like Matthew said here..

Do your LIM Gaskets first/tune up.

Make sure she is in strong running order before modding it.

only LIM maintenance is replacing the gasket? then regular maintenance (ie. spark plugs/wires/coolant/oil + fuel filter) Think that's good enough to keep me busy for a week's vacation?

Just buy headers, plugs, pulley, and a tuned PCM (if you dont have a tuner program or know someone with one) for the mods all at once, and spend a day or how ever long it takes you and put it all in at once. Make your own intake, And I know most will disagree with me but you should be okay with a basic 3.5 setup and no tune "right away". Im currently running a 3.4 setup on a stock tune with almost no KR
