I have a bluetooth OBD scanner, one of those cheap ones from amazon that use the ELM327 protocol. The other day I left it plugged in and shut the car off to go into a store. When I came out and started the car, my gauges were dead and my traction control off light came on. My speedo worked, but no other gauges, my low fuel chime came on on the DIC. My odometer also read "ERROR MI". I was running late for church so i just started driving. When I got to church I unplugged the scanner and shut off the car. When I came back out I started the car without the scanner plugged in. All the gauges came back to normal, but my odometer had not advanced. I drove about 25 miles that the odo did not count.

Does anyone else have one of these scanners and had this happen?
