I'm sure there are plenty of GP's on this forum running stereo systems. I am inquiring on where you ran your power cable? I am not installing a sound system amp, but rather a CB amp behind the passenger seat on the floor. This is where I need my power cable run to. Are there any reasonably accessible holes in the firewall that will accomodate a 4awg power cable through it? If not, what is the best solution to get power where I need it? Drill a hole in the floor and grommet/silicone seal it?

    Thanks in advance!

    Pix are always good.

    Np man..

Once you are in the engine bay..tuck it behind the coolant overflow and tape or tie it off to the main loom that is right there. That way you won't pull a Jordan and have it get chewed by a belt etc.
